The Truth of Today

The truth of the times of today, are that people are disconnected. People don’t understand one another, and misunderstand one another. People are using faith to attack diversity. People are unheard, but should be heard. People are financially straining, with half of a string of hope left.

The truth of times, as of today, is people are living in a hell hole of division and hate. There’s also another truth of today, despite the unravel of political division into one’s personal life, through unity there is common ground to be recovered.

Through respect, there is common ground to be discovered.

The truth is, God created this world as diverse as he could on purpose. A testament to this is that the world still evolves and evolves beyond his original creations, each and every day, each and every year, each and every century. There’s always a new discovery of a new type of person or thing. There’s always space to learn and understand, contrary to what you know, “think you know”, or “believe”.

In short, let’s be self-honest about what we individually need to do every day to better ourselves, be inclusive of diverse perspectives, lifestyles, cultures, and characteristics to be the best person we can be. The mirror is a great starting point. Look in it and reflect in it, honesty.
