That Is Love

I look at you and say: I love you

It’s in my will to love you for who you are. It’s in my will to embrace anyone (and) anything different than what I know–or understand…. Including you. It’s in my will, to love you, for you. I won’t harm you, with words. I won’t harm you, with insensitivity. I won’t harm you with prejudice. I won’t harm you with hatred. I won’t harm, you, because I love you for loving yourself.

I love you for being yourself.

I love what we have in common.

I love we can find ground, on things we don’t have in common.

I love we can embrace the difference in you, I, us, and others.

I know, being yourself can feel like a storm each day. But, I need you to survive the storm of each day. I pray the storm of every day strengthens you, more and more each day. Now is the time to be closer to yourself, more than ever. As we join hands, together we say: We thank you that no situation is too far out of your control to provide. For you are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides.

That is love.
