That Conditional Love

It’s easier said than done to not love someone, that doesn’t love you or never will love you. This is so, because we tend to see the value in people that don’t see the same value themselves. We see that they can be the lover that we’ve always desired, but they don’t see it, themself. We see that they are capable of being our best friend, but they don’t see it. As a result, they abuse us for our heart and soul– portraying to love us back. We see this but continue to show and give our love to them. They don’t care we’re giving ourselves to them. For their sake, it benefits them and nothing else matters. We continue to see all the wrongs signs but maintain our love still to and for thee.

At some point, you have to accept the reality. Set the precedent you must be loved unconditionally, or “you don’t love me at all”.

If you question it (one’s love for you), then it’s literally not love in actuality. Love means love and love is always unconditional. Unless you settle for conditional.

Don’t.
